The Carpenter’s Mark

The name The Carpenter’s Mark is rooted in an old tradition: builders would carve or mark their personal symbol into the pieces they crafted – part signature, part quality seal. It represented pride in the work and accountability for every detail.

That idea fits Matthew perfectly. From learning the trade early alongside his dad to timber framing in Fort Collins, where every cut has to be precise, he’s always believed good work should speak for itself. The Carpenter’s Mark is our promise that every project is done with care, built to last, and finished in a way we’re proud to put our name on.

Meet Matthew

Matthew’s been building since he was 12, learning alongside his dad and falling in love with the craft along the way. Over the years, he’s held a variety of roles in the construction and remodeling industry, starting as a carpenter in both commercial and residential spaces. After spending three years timber framing in Fort Collins, Colorado, he continued rounding out his skill set on the project manager, estimator and superintendent side, gaining the experience it takes to plan, price, and run jobs the right way.

Now, he’s turned that long-time passion into The Carpenter’s Mark, bringing a full-scope background to every project and approaching each job with care, clean execution, and a commitment to doing it right.

Meet Lana

With ten years of experience in marketing, advertising and project management, Lana is the person behind the scenes at The Carpenter’s Mark. She manages the marketing and admin side, keeping the brand cohesive, the website updated, and the business organized day-to-day, so Matthew can stay focused on the craft.
